lost in the world questions

1) What is the general premise of the video?

The general idea of the video is that technology has become a prison of sorts that traps us in and secludes us from the world around us. We are so obsessed with what's going on in the world of technology that we are becoming oblivious or desensitized to the things happening in real life.

2) Is the video effective in conveying it's intended message?

I would say that the video is effective in relaying it's message because it was delivered in an interesting and creative way. It grabbed people's attention and really got them to focus on what they were watching. Not because they had to but because they made the video entertaining to watch.

3) Do you feel that this is more of a cautionary story (a warning) or more of an examination of our current social situation? Why?

Honestly, it could be either one. Some of the examples in the video are of things that actually go on in every day that reach people all over the world. Like the video of the girl that spread to hundreds of people or the girl that was on the date and decided to look for someone more attractive as if she were on a dating app. And on the other hand some of the events are more of a dramatized warning, like at the end where everyone was paying attention to their phones and they practically walked off the face of the earth.
