In the image the man appears to be climbing a women's face of a blown up picture of her face. The rope he's holding onto goes right down the middle of her face and he's towards the top of her face, adjacent to her eye. In the photo it is showing the right side of her face. I think the photo is really a man scaling a billboard of a women's face. It could be both an artistic image and a documentary one as well. I don't think the image is photoshopped if it is really a billboard but if it is supposed to be a real face then the image would have to be photoshopped.

I think the meaning of the image is about how everyone has a different perspective on situations. That not everyone shares the same point of view. From the outside perspective it looks like the man is super small and climbing something really large. But from the man's perspective its more tailored and restricted to what he can see around him. I think the photographer's intent was to make viewers question if it was photoshopped or not. The image makes me think that I have to keep in mind that everyone has different outlooks and that not everyone will agree all the time. The difference in scale just reinforces the idea that it's all about perspective.
