CONCEPT:  love  MESSAGE: self love  EMOTIONAL CONNECTOR: the feeling of trying to work on self love/acceptance.  DYNAMIC ARTISTRY: the blurriness of the photo makes it seem that there could be a struggle or the idea of self love still hasn't fully been achieved. And the image itself isn't fully clear and it's also mostly dark so it is a little to see myself completely.  STORY TELLING QUALITY: my process and journey, that i still have, to find my self love, but also the process i've made.

ORIGINAL PHOTO URBAN EFFECT: COLOR GRADING This tutorial was pretty easy to follow, there were only a few times where I had to go back and re-watch it. In my opinion, I think I did a pretty good job with making it look consistent with the one from the video. It can definitely be applied to any image as it creates an almost filter like effect on the image.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWixIePxDDI GRADIENT EFFECT This tutorial was absolutely easier to follow than the first one, as it had written instructions while the person performed the tutorial. The effect was definitely consistent with the example because the tutorial was not very complex to follow. The gradient effect can probably be applied to any image especially ones without too much white in the photo because then it would look slightly overexposed.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aCMBotM7ys

Most of my assignments I am proud of because I genuinely loved the topic of the assignment, but for the topics I didn't love as much the effort I put into my work suffered. There were sometimes when I would get off task, but I tried to correct that and not waste too much time. I think moving forward I can start improving the strength of the concepts of my work. In second semester, I am going to try to put more effort into my assignments and over all try to build and develop my concepts more.  EFFORT Over all, I put a lot of effort into most of my pieces and when my effort slacked off a bit it is definitely noticeable in the pieces I turned in. I generally stay around the requirement for index prints, I at least make sure that I have enough to satiate the minimum amount required. I'm going to try to put more effort into my pieces through...
